My name is Jill Henderson. I have 16 years of experience teaching art at both the elementary and high school levels. This is my 5th year at Olney Elementary.
I was born in Iowa, and grew up on a beautiful dairy farm. After graduating from Iowa State University, I taught a (1-12) art program for three years in Iowa before moving to Dallas,
Texas. In Dallas, I applied my art skills at a landscape architecture firm. After moving to Maryland, I taught high school art in Frederick County and elementary school art in Montgomery County.
I am married, and my husband and I have three sons, ages 19, 17, and 13. We live in Western Howard County just northeast of Olney.
After staying home with our boys for nine years, I returned to teaching art in the fall of 2007. I look forward to my third year working with the very fine students at Olney Elementary School.
