Up with Art is a teacher/parent partnership formed at Olney Elementary. It is a unique and exciting program in which parents introduce famous artists to the students. This program has been put in place for 3rd grade students.
“Up With Art” is open to all parents who wish to participate in meaningful student learning.
Parents do not need to have a background in art in order to volunteer, as they will be provided with a presentation packet for each artist.
The artists we will be presenting in 3rd grade are:
· Leonardo da Vinci
· Salvador Dali
· Claude Monet
· Georgia O'Keeffe
· Pablo Picasso
· Vincent Van Gogh
